Hi! Your Warmboard R looks like a pretty great product! I do have a question regarding a retrofit. We pulled up the carpet to expose the floor we wish to install the radiant floor heating into. Surprise- There is an old vinyl tile floor glued to the concrete with a mastic. Could we install the ... At what stage is it best to install? post plumbing / Pre framing? In a new home you can install Warmboard-S right at the beginning, directly over the joist. If the subfloor is already in place, you can install either before or after the walls. Before walls is typically more efficient, but many are concerned ...
